A leading medical device company seeks a highly skilled Contract R&D Specialist to join their Research and Development team.
This role focuses on analytical lab test method development, verification, and validation for new Class III combination products.
- Fundamental testing methods include HPLC, Dissolution, and GPC.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with hydrogels, polymers, injections of liquids, and analytical testing of such products.
- 5+ years' experience in analytical lab test method development, verification, and validation.
- Experience in development, verification, and validation of analytical test methods for injectables, hydrogels, polymers, etc.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, Dissolution, GPC test method development and validation.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to HPLC, Dissolution, GPC test methods and equipment.
- Experience developing analytical tests such as Karl Fisher, NMR, GC, DSC.
- Experience working in a GLP environment.
- Experience reviewing analytical protocols, reports, and data.
- Experience reviewing lot release data as part of analytical testing.
- Deep understanding of USP and ICH guidelines for HPLC, Dissolution, and other analytical methods.
- The position is available to start ASAP or by September 1st.
- An initial contract of 12 months, potentially extendable.
- Based in Limerick, requiring 5 days onsite per week, with some remote work possible depending on the project.
