Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team as an EHS Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.

The EHS Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to internal teams, including day-to-day operations, project development, and execution. This will involve assisting with the completion of walkdowns and at handover stages, supporting the EHS team in the EHS management and execution of projects throughout the project life cycle, and working with cross-functional teams in a highly automated GMP production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the EHS team in providing technical support to internal teams
  • Support HAZOP's and Design Safety Review Incident investigation and close-out as required
  • Assist the EHS team in completion of walkdowns and at handover stages
  • Support the EHS team in the EHS management and execution of projects throughout the project life cycle from initiation to closeout
  • Work with cross-functional teams in a highly automated GMP production environment
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Health & Safety or related Engineering discipline

• Minimum 5 years plus EHS experience, some of which within a Pharmaceutical / Biopharma manufacturing facility

• Excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation

• Good computer MS Office skills (PP, Word, Excel, etc.)
