Are you looking for a challenging role where you can leverage your analytical skills to drive business growth? Our SaT M&A Advisory team is seeking an Associate Director who will play a key role in originating, leading and managing M&A transactions end-to-end.

The Corporate Finance team provides core corporate finance services including Lead Advisory M&A, management buy-outs/buy-ins, capital raising, investment readiness assessments and strategic advice. They have sector specialisms and a Debt Advisory team which supports all clients and industries.

In this role, you will work with a high-performing, integrated team focusing on a wide variety of clients and delivering a range of assignments focusing on general corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and strategic advice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
  • Understanding the financial implications of transactions
  • Creative in the sourcing and use of information and able to make sensible assumptions where appropriate
  • Absorb new technical information quickly and develop a deep understanding of the strategic rationale for transactions

Skills and attributes for success include: strong analytical and commercial acumen, ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, proficient in detailed financial and commercial analysis and the ability to identify potential areas of sensitivity.

Additional requirements include relevant analytical or financial qualifications, strong commercial experience and/or relevant industry experience, analytical approach coupled with strong commercial acumen, excellent communicator, both oral and written, IT skills, to an advanced level in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, effective time management, ability to keep calm when under pressure to meet deadlines and being a team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels but also able to work effectively on your own using your own initiative and judgement as required.
