About this role:

Job Description
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of transactions within the General Accounting team, in accordance with accounting guidelines for the Shared Service Centre (SSC).
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process and analyze financial data related to the General Accounting (GA) system, including creating and posting GL journals, month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L reviews, bank reconciliations, managing manual recharges, and preparing corporate schedules.
  2. Manage BS accounts, reconciliations, and monitoring.
  3. Prepare budgets and manage finances.
  4. Interact with Accounts Payable & Receivable to resolve issues.
  5. Produce statutory audit files and financial statements, maintain bridge reconciliations between GAAP and Local GAAP, and manage relationships with external auditors.
  6. Handle intercompany balances and transactions, ensuring they are supported by agreements and resolved timely.
  7. Support tax computations in line with local requirements.
  8. Complete internal audits and requirements.
  9. Deliver excellent service and maintain professional relationships within the SSC and with external teams.
  10. Participate in SSC projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Statutory accounts & audit experience
  • Sarbanes Oxley experience
  • Business partnership skills
  • High-volume reconciliation experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of GA processes and procedures
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros
  • Good attendance and timekeeping
  • Technical competence and fluency in English
  • Experience in diverse environments and European languages preferred
  • Shared Service Centre exposure
