The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of all financial transactions, supporting internal and external accounting guidelines.
This includes creating and posting general ledger journals, managing monthly US GAAP reporting, and preparing relevant balance sheet account reconciliations.
They will work closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing or payment issues and with Accounts Receivable to address invoicing or receipt issues.
The role also involves monitoring and resolving cash management items, reviewing bank reconciliations as necessary, and working with large volumes of data to analyze it and manage manual recharges.
The Financial Transaction Specialist will handle quarterly and ad hoc corporate schedules, take full responsibility for several balance sheet account reconciliations and intercompany balances, and ensure all intercompany transactions are supported by agreements.
Delivering excellent customer service is a key aspect of this role, partnering with key business unit finance staff and maintaining high-quality service levels.
Upholding professional relationships within the organization and with outsourced teams, participating in key projects and initiatives, and contributing to achieving service-level performance targets are also essential responsibilities.
