Seeking a dynamic senior finance professional to lead the external and internal financial reporting of a prestigious organisation. As Interim Head of Group Finance, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and ensuring robust financial governance, strategic planning, and insightful analysis to support the company's growth and success.

About the Role

You will be a key member of the finance leadership team, overseeing the preparation of Group financial statements and statutory accounts for timely compliance. Your expertise in accounting principles and procedures will be essential in advising on complex issues and ensuring accurate and compliant reporting.

  • Lead the financial reporting team and ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Oversee preparation of Group financial statements and statutory accounts for timely LSE compliance.
  • Advise on complex accounting issues to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
  • Drive key finance projects and deliver monthly consolidated reports for executive and board review.
  • Promote sustainability, diversity, and strong data governance across finance operations.

Key qualifications include:

  • Qualified Accountant with at least 8 years PQE.
  • Proven track record in a senior group finance leadership role within a large PLC.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
