We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Vehicle Fleet Operations Coordinator.

This role involves coordinating the efficient movement of vehicles between designated locations, ensuring timely arrivals and departures while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating company vehicles for rental purposes
  • Cleaning and prepping vehicles for rental
  • Performing pre- and post-rental inspections to ensure vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
  • Auditing vehicle quality both inside and outside
  • Tracker installation/removal and activation/deactivation
  • Completing necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and prioritize tasks
  • Completing safety and maintenance checks on vehicles
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full clean B driving license held for a minimum of 2 years
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A 40 hour working week Monday to Saturday, with Saturday work required
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communications skills - both written and verbal
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus
