This is an exciting opportunity for a Structural Design Specialist to join our organization.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced structural engineer to lead the design of building projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of structural engineering and the construction process, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design building structures using Eurocodes and various materials
  • Prepare manual calculations and utilize software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, and TEDDS; knowledge of Revit is desirable
  • Maintain design folders and ensure efficient communication with internal and external parties
  • Collaborate on preparation of design drawings and review of drawings prepared by others
  • Undertake site inspections as required under BCAR 2014 and participate in report writing
  • Assist in reviewing Contractor and Design Team proposals and undertake duties of the PSDP, Assigned Certifier, and Ancillary Certifier

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of tasks and working collaboratively as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines are essential for this role.
