A dynamic and skilled Parts Advisor is required to provide exceptional service and support to our customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Receiving incoming service requests and ensuring seamless booking procedures
- Ensuring adherence to service department protocols for efficient workflow management
- Accurately receiving sales PDIS and utilizing the Auto View booking diary, while effectively communicating with the sales department via email
- Verifying outstanding recalls on all vehicles at point of booking and receiving PDIS
- Retrieving essential information upon booking and documenting it using correct methods on each job card
- Planning customer transportation needs upon booking and confirming bookings through internal systems and recording them on job cards
- Collaborating with parts and service advisors to ensure efficient workshop operations through effective communication
- Optimizing parts inventory based on demand and cost targets
- Maintaining accurate stock levels to enable uninterrupted servicing and repair work
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of parts and stock control systems, as well as faulty parts
- Identifying and evaluating high-quality suppliers who can offer replacement parts matching original quality standards
- Selling parts to customers in addition to meeting internal repair requirements
