Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to drive technical excellence, innovation, and efficiency across the team. You will work closely with directors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that our software development processes are aligned with business objectives and meet the highest standards of quality and security.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a collaborative and empathetic leader who can inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best. You will be a strong communicator who can effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will also be a hands-on leader who is comfortable rolling up your sleeves to tackle challenging technical problems and provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering leadership, with a strong track record of delivering complex software projects and leading high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of modern software engineering principles, practices, and technologies, including Agile methodologies, DevOps, and cloud computing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
