Spa Leadership Opportunity

Our Spa is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Spa Manager.

About the Role:

  • This is a dynamic leadership position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in team management and performance.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, driving retail sales, and maintaining high standards of operational efficiency.
  • A key aspect of this role is collaborating with our wider hotel and spa team to achieve cross-departmental synergy and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and motivate a dedicated team of therapists to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  2. Support the Spa Manager in budgeting, stock control, and daily operations to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  3. Maintain high standards of customer care and professionalism, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to drive retail and treatment sales, meeting and exceeding targets.
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  6. Cultivate effective relationships with colleagues across departments to foster collaboration and promote a culture of excellence.
  7. Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally, utilizing diplomatic and empathetic communication skills.
  8. Maintain accurate records and reports using our spa software systems, ensuring timely and efficient data analysis.
  9. Contribute to continuous improvement of spa services, standards, and guest experience through innovation, feedback, and team development.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified and experienced therapist with supervisory experience in a 4-star spa environment.
  • Proficient in massage, facials, and nail treatments, with knowledge of product ranges such as VOYA and Yonka (preferably).
  • Familiarity with spa software systems like HotSoft and Phorest (preferably).
  • Able to demonstrate proven sales and retail performance, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record in team management and performance.
