Job Title: Nuclear Cardiology Specialist

Nuclear Cardiology Specialist

A highly skilled and experienced professional is required to perform nuclear cardiology studies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing nuclear cardiology imaging procedures
  • Analyzing results and identifying issues with image quality
  • Ensuring proper imaging techniques for patient age and ability
  • Reviewing patient information and interpreting data
  • Maintaining inventory of supplies in clinical rooms

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program
  • 1.5 years of experience as a Nuclear Cardiology Specialist or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
  • NYS licensure in Nuclear Medicine or temporary license when accredited program is passed
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the NMTCB or registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the ARRT
