Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel maintenance and possess a trade relevant to the role.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing general maintenance within the hotel and its grounds
  • Notifying the Property Manager of any maintenance issues that require further attention
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and visitors
  • Dealing with customer queries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
  • Ensuring the public areas and car park are clean and tidy
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year's experience in a hotel's maintenance department
  • A trade relevant to the maintenance role required
  • Previous experience of working in a standards-driven environment
  • Basic MS Office skills to include Word and Excel
  • A creative and solutions-focused approach when problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
