The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the bakery team to achieve department targets and maintain excellent customer service. This will involve ensuring all bakery products meet quality, presentation, and freshness standards, managing stock levels, ordering, and waste control to maximise profitability, and implementing promotions and merchandising plans to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
To succeed in this role, you will require previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role within a bakery or fresh food retail environment. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, as well as knowledge of bakery production, stock control, and HACCP standards. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards are also required.
