Are you passionate about baking, a maestro of management, and hungry for a new challenge? The Rolling Donut, the famous bakery known for our award-winning sourdough donuts is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bakery/Operations/Production Manager to lead our team to even greater heights We know how to do the donuts and we want you to lead our team and continue the tradition.

Responsibilities:

People Management: Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of talented bakers and confectioners. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment where everyone thrives. Lead from the front and by example.

Rostering: Create efficient schedules that ensure adequate coverage while managing labour costs effectively using our Bizimply time and attendance system.

Systems: Analyse our current set up, our way of 'doing things', change them if needed and get our team to support you and see the results.

Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets, including monitoring purchases, implementing cost-saving measures, lowering waste and maintaining high productivity.

Food Safety: Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards and regulations to maintain impeccable hygiene and product quality.

New Product Development: Drive innovation by spearheading the development of exciting new donut creations and seasonal offerings that captivate our customers' taste buds.

Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including stock management, ordering supplies, product quality and maintaining equipment to guarantee smooth bakery functioning.

Requirements/About You:

Previous bakery management experience is preferrable.

Proven track record in people management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Proficiency in rostering and scheduling software.

Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.

Thorough knowledge of food safety standards and regulations with food safety accreditations.

Creative flair and a passion for developing new donut recipes and products.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.

Food Science knowledge a bonus but not essential.

We are located in Western Business Park Dublin 12 so own transport is necessary.
