Senior Financial Leadership Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to take on a Senior Financial Leadership role. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and optimizing financial performance.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for leading and developing a small finance team, overseeing full financial operations including P&L, balance sheet, working capital management, forecasting, budgeting, KPI reporting, and process improvements. They will also play a key role in optimising the use of new finance systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in a Senior leadership role within finance, with a proven track record of implementing financial controls and driving operational change. They will possess excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills, as well as being commercially astute with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Lead and develop a small finance team, overseeing full financial operations including P&L, balance sheet, working capital management, forecasting, budgeting, KPI reporting, and process improvements.
  • Strategic Planning: Support the senior leadership team by providing financial insight and analysis to guide business decisions, contributing to long-term planning and the delivery of growth strategies.
  • Treasury & Risk: Manage cash flow, banking relationships, insurance, and working capital, supporting debt and equity finance activities as required.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience: 5+ years experience in a Senior leadership role within finance, with a proven track record of implementing financial controls and driving operational change.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills, being commercially astute with a hands-on approach.
