Job Overview
Seeking an experienced professional to manage a residential and respite service, delivering high-quality person-centered care for individuals attending these services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the designated centre as Person in Charge, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
- Effectively manage allocated resources and deploy them accordingly.
- Implement management systems to guarantee safe, high-quality, and monitored services that meet the needs of service users.
Requirements
- Meet the requirements of The Health Act (2007) Regulations regarding the Person in Charge role.
- Hold a QQI Level 8 (Honours) Degree in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Have completed a recognized management course or be currently enrolled in one.
- Possess a minimum of three years post-qualification social care experience in intellectual disability and three years of management/leadership experience within a healthcare setting.
- Have a strong working knowledge of HIQA Standards and The Health Act (2007) and associated Regulations and Guidance.
- Be proficient in computer skills with excellent IT abilities.
- Possess excellent report writing skills.
- Hold a current, valid Irish driving license.
