Role Summary
The role of Innovation Program Designer and Developer is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for the design, development, and delivery of programs that empower entrepreneurs to start and scale new businesses. The successful candidate will have a strong background in educational program design, including experience with determining pedagogical approaches, sourcing unique learning content, and managing programs through their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop structured entrepreneurial acceleration and innovation programs and targeted masterclasses.
- Develop curricula that blend theory, practice, and real-world application, ensuring high relevance for entrepreneurs at varying stages.
- Identify and integrate sectoral trends, case studies, and ecosystem insights into program design.
- Create and oversee development of blended learning content (workshops, online modules, toolkits, case examples).
- Apply best-in-class teaching and learning methodologies, including experiential, action-based, and peer-to-peer learning approaches.
- Design pre-work, in-session, and post-session activities that reinforce participant engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, mentors, and industry leaders to co-develop relevant content.
- Build and maintain connections within Ireland's entrepreneurial ecosystem (investors, corporates, universities, agencies).
- Continuously gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to refine program design.
- Develop facilitator and mentor guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Explore and implement innovative digital tools and platforms to enhance learning experiences.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, producing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Five+ years in educational program design or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; Master's/Postgraduate qualification/MBA is a plus.
- Strong knowledge/experience of content authoring tools and Learning Management Systems.
- Highly competent in Microsoft 365.
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills; ability to communicate effectively at all relevant levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and learn in a dynamic environment; autonomous with a can-do attitude.
- Experience or exposure to Ireland's innovation and startup ecosystems is highly advantageous.
