We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee and manage mechanical maintenance and reactive/remedial activities within our operations team.

About the Role
  • This is a key leadership position that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering results.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage day-to-day activities of a team consisting of plumbers, gas and oil engineers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
  2. Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive/remedial repairs, and statutory inspections, maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  3. Provide technical guidance to staff and apprentices, identifying training needs and conducting performance reviews.
  4. Maintain effective communication within the team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or Heating.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing teams and coordinating resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.
