Operations Director

To ensure the opening and ongoing success of our dual-branded hotel, we are looking for an exceptional leader to oversee maintenance operations.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to assist in the launch of two of Marriott's most dynamic brands - Aloft, known for its bold design and social energy, and Residence Inn, crafted for longer stays and residential comfort.

As Operations Director, you'll be responsible for delivering excellent guest and team member experiences while meeting the hotel's business objectives.

  • Providing routine & preventive maintenance and ensuring adherence to all statutory and legal regulatory requirements during repairs.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repair.
  • Broad experience in a wide variety of building services skills.
About You

You will have:

  • Good general knowledge of systems used in hotels together with the ability to undertake repairs allocated to them.
  • Electrical Heating and Ventilation Painting/Decorating and Finishes Plumbing Boiler Operation Fire Detection and Emergency Lighting Systems Kitchen Equipment Refrigeration General Building Maintenance and Repairs Health and Safety Experience Hands on skills and work experience in a similar role preferably in the hospitality industry.
