Production Excellence Leader

Job Description:

As a seasoned operations professional, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of production staff to drive excellence in quality, service, and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that our manufacturing site operates at the highest standards, delivering exceptional results and improving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational excellence
  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and improve productivity
  • Maintain quality standards and expectations through effective communication and deployment
  • Manage production prioritization to meet customer requirements and maintain inventory levels
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members to ensure their success
  • Facilitate open communication and foster a positive employee relations environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, such as Lean/Cost Reduction initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or Masters in Business, Production Management, Engineering, or similar discipline
  • 4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2 years minimum Supervisor experience
  • Excellent leadership aptitude, with ability to work with people and set direction
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
  • Good knowledge of GMP/FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety
