Job Title

A key role is available for a seasoned professional to manage and expand a regional portfolio of customers. This position involves driving revenue growth, fostering strong client relationships, and supporting projects using a mix of face-to-face engagement and digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively manage and grow revenue from a regional customer base and local project sites.
  2. Develop new business opportunities and increase value from existing accounts through cross- and up-selling.
  3. Maintain an active pipeline and deliver consistent sales growth in line with business objectives.
  4. Lead digital campaigns and support major projects, ensuring the company is the first-choice provider.
  5. Conduct a minimum of 25 customer meetings or site visits per week, covering main contractors and subcontractors.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth account transitions and drive compliance on major accounts.
  7. Support debt management for your customer base and mitigate financial risk.
  8. Record all activity and sales progress via the CRM system.
  9. Champion the use of digital platforms, including social media and video tools, to promote services and products.
  10. Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to support strategy.
  11. Support the wider sales team, sharing best practices and encouraging continuous improvement.
  12. Maintain health & safety compliance and promote sustainability through company initiatives.

About You

  • You are a seasoned professional with proven experience in sales/account management, preferably in construction, hire, or engineering-related industries.
  • You possess strong commercial acumen and ability to manage pricing and contract negotiations.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative sales approach.
  • You are self-motivated, proactive, and confident operating at all levels within a customer's business.
  • You are a team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • You have sound knowledge of the construction site environment and sector dynamics.
  • You are competent using CRM systems and lead generation tools.
  • You are able to adapt to change and contribute to digital transformation efforts.
  • You hold a valid UK driving license and are willing to travel regionally.
