  • Develop and analyze volatility events to inform trade ideas
  • Provide timely opinions on breaking news and its impact on market fluctuations
  • Forecast dividends and their potential effects on stock prices
  • Evaluate special situations such as mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate actions
  • Collaborate with derivative traders to develop investment strategies
  • Participate in company events and conferences as required
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to inform stock valuation

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years' experience in financial markets or progress towards CFA qualification an advantage
  • Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
  • Demonstrable interest in macroeconomic environment and political events
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with trading environments and derivative products preferred
  • Must be a self-starter, quick learner, effective communicator, and resourceful problem-solver
  • Willingsness to work flexible hours when necessary
