Job Title: Clinical Specialist Radiographer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of diagnostic imaging services, including CT scanning, to patients from diverse backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of radiography principles, and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment. Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of imaging services.
  2. Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize image quality and patient outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  4. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, test results, and treatment plans.
  6. Continuously evaluate and improve own practice, staying up-to-date with the latest advances in radiography and patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BSc Diagnostic Radiography qualification or equivalent.
  • CORU registration as a Radiographer.
  • A minimum of 6 years' post-graduation clinical experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working at a senior level in a CT department.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
