About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist to join our team in Dunboyne. The successful candidate will work on a contract basis for a leading pharmaceutical company, performing shift-based work.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support laboratory operations, including equipment qualification and documentation generation.
  • Perform tasks such as EM, facility testing, method verifications, troubleshooting, and laboratory studies execution.
  • Review, trend, and report laboratory data, generating batch data, collating and analyzing end-of-quarter reports, maintaining laboratory stock, and ordering consumables.
  • Manage routine cleans of laboratory equipment and maintain laboratory housekeeping standards.
  • Respond to requests from partners, customers, and clients, escalating to manager when necessary.
  • Participate in functional meetings and facilitate cross-functional meetings.
  • Support site safety culture and ways of working.
  • Introduce novel solutions, supporting biologics testing within the facility.
  • Build team effectiveness skills and promote team success through own actions and respect for diverse populations.
  • Support timely training completion and coaching of team members.
  • Flexibility to support changing business needs.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or Engineering (microbiology preferred).
  • 1-3 years' experience in a relevant academic or industry field (internships and student placements considered).
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently in a constructive manner.
  • Knowledge of Biologics manufacturing and microbiological testing techniques.
  • Laboratory systems knowledge (LIMS, E-logs, MODA, electronic notebooks).
  • Logical thinking and proactive under pressure.
  • GMP knowledge and familiarity with USP, EP, JP requirements.
