Scientist Role

We're currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a leading multinational organisation based in Meath. This is an excellent position for anyone who is looking to join a team that is one of the best at what they do.



This role will provide you with the chance to contribute to laboratory operations within the laboratory facility, supporting equipment qualification and documentation generation, as well as contributing to lab and process establishment.

Support general lab operations, including equipment testing and method verifications, troubleshooting and execution of laboratory studies where required.Review and trend laboratory data, to support batch data generation, collating and analysing end of quarter and year reports for all raw data generated.Manage routine cleans of laboratory equipment and maintain laboratory housekeeping standards, identifying continuous improvement opportunities in laboratory processes.Respond to requests from partners, customers and clients (internal and/or external) and escalate to manager when appropriate.Active participation in functional meetings and facilitation of cross-functional meetings where required, audits (internal and external).Support introduction of novel solutions, testing biologics within the facility.Build team effectiveness skills, learn to promote team success through own actions and demonstrate respect and appreciation for diverse populations.Support timely training completion and coaching of team members.Be flexible to support changing business needs, out of hours testing support for exceptional circumstances.

Requirements
  • A degree qualification in Biological Sciences or Engineering, preferable background in microbiology.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience working in a relevant academic or industry field, internships and student placements considered in lieu of experience.
  • Familiarity with Biologics manufacturing and knowledge of microbiological testing techniques.
  • Knowledge of laboratory systems (e.g. LIMS, E-logs, MODA, electronic notebooks).
  • GMP knowledge, familiarity with USP, EP, JP requirements.
