
Care Professional For Rehabilitation And Adaptive Techniques

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in the acute care setting. You will implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and facilitating discharge.
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care delivery. You will provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation and adaptive techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans that cater to patients' unique needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on rehabilitation and adaptive techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with CORU.
- At least 1 year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in acute hospital settings, particularly in General Medical and Surgical wards.
- Residency in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
- Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting and obtain International Police Clearance if necessary.
