Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to lead the design of innovative software solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and drive meaningful outcomes for our clients.

This pivotal role requires a Subject Matter Expert who can shape end-to-end architectures and guide their successful implementation across complex digital environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with stakeholders, business leaders, and technical specialists to define project requirements.
  • Interpret and apply information contained within Enterprise architecture to inform business improvement activities.
  • Ensure the overall ICT architecture is maintained in a coherent manner and consider its security and quality.
  • Act as a subject matter expert focused on the design process.
  • Provide high-level and detailed estimates for projects.
  • Manage risks appropriate to the contract team in delivering agreed deliverables.
  • Identify improvements to system architecture and processes.
  • Manage delivery of application functionality by all resources and ensure outputs adhere to quality and governance standards.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Essential skills:
    • Demonstrate expertise in interpreting and applying Enterprise architecture.
    • Provide leadership and direction towards a common technical vision.
    • Ensure overall enterprise architecture is maintained in a coherent manner.
    • Manage delivery of multiple system modules or projects.
    • Have proven experience in designing and developing new systems using cloud-based platforms.
    • Have proven experience in modernising existing applications onto cloud-based platforms.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in technical architecture.
  • Experience with developing enterprise systems using open-source software.
  • Public sector experience preferred.
