Job Title: Farm Veterinary Surgeons
About the Role- Farm Veterinary Surgeons are required to work on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, with standard daytime shifts and a one-hour lunch break.
- Overtime and weekend rotas will be allocated on a 1 in 4 basis, with time off in lieu the following week.
- The role will involve 100% farm animal work, including routine fertility assessments, calvings/lambings, Caesareans, displaced abomasums, downer cow management, herd/flock health planning, mastitis control, lameness, youngstock/calf health, parasitology, and infectious disease investigations (including TB testing where applicable).
- Modern equipment will be provided, including portable ultrasound, fluids, calving kit, and blood/FA analysis access.
- Experienced colleagues and Registered Veterinary Nurses will be available for support and practical case backup when needed.
- You will have the opportunity to work within collaborative, farm-dedicated teams, with genuine case discussion, mentorship, and the freedom to grow areas of interest (e.g., fertility, mastitis control, lameness, youngstock).
