Key Responsibilities

This role involves leading a department and team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

Key responsibilities include creating a welcoming environment, ensuring the store is managed effectively when necessary, and developing a culture of trust among colleagues.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for coaching and managing colleagues to achieve their daily priorities, reviewing reports to identify areas for improvement, and driving initiatives to reduce waste and improve stock control.

In addition, they will be required to recruit top talent for the team, manage warehouse operations, and ensure that customers are charged the correct price for products.

They will also be responsible for recognizing excellent customer service and providing feedback where necessary.

  • Create an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
  • Ensure the store is managed effectively when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are not present
  • Develop a culture of trust among colleagues
  • Coach and manage colleagues to achieve their daily priorities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a demonstrated track record of delivering key objectives in a fast-paced environment.

You should be adaptable and agile in your thinking, with a passion for delivering the right way for customers and colleagues.

Previous retail experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
