**Chef De Partie Role**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef De Partie to join our vibrant and busy gastropub in Galway. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate individual to play a key role in a fast-paced kitchen team.
As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for managing your designated section, ensuring food preparation, presentation, and hygiene are always of the highest level. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes to a consistently high standard.
Our gastropub is known for its fresh local ingredients, warm atmosphere, and exceptional food. We offer an excellent opportunity for growth within a professional kitchen environment.
Key Duties:
- Prepare and present dishes within your section according to the menu and quality standards.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with HACCP.
- Assist with the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.
- Support stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver smooth service during busy periods.
- Contribute to menu development with fresh, seasonal ideas.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef De Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to step up.
- Passion for high-quality food and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team under pressure.
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
