Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Garden Designer and Gardener to join our team in Dublin. As part of our expanding landscape business, you will be responsible for designing gardens, planting schemes, and training new staff members. Additionally, you will create and manage social media content, write and edit blog posts, and coordinate events organized for clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement interior and exterior garden plans, ensuring aesthetically pleasing and functional designs that meet client expectations.
  • Train and oversee gardening activities, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality results.
  • Promote the company through various marketing channels, generating new leads and creating visual presentations for clients.
  • Manage social media platforms, creating engaging content and editing posts to maintain a strong online presence.
  • Plan and coordinate client events, including weddings, birthday parties, and other celebrations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in management and employee training.
  • 1+ year of experience in gardening and maintenance, with a focus on landscaping and horticultural practices.
  • 1+ year of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of increasing followers and engagement.
  • 1+ year of experience in program management, with expertise in project planning and execution.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in writing and editing, with a portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • 1+ year of experience in events management, with a focus on event planning and execution.
