Regional Health Specialist

We are seeking a people-focused Health & Safety professional to take the lead on Health & Safety matters across a network of community-based services in the Waterford and Wexford region.
Key Highlights- A unique opportunity to plan your own week, decide which sites to visit, and balance time working from home or from one of 10 key regional offices.
- Enjoy flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week or choose any local office across the Southeast region.
- Play a vital role in supporting services that benefit communities, families, and children.
- A Level 8 qualification (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety with experience in multi-site or community-based settings.
- At least 3 years experience in managing Health & Safety initiatives.
- A strong working knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and management systems.
- A likeable, down-to-earth communication style with the ability to relate to staff from all backgrounds.
- Conduct site visits, audits, and risk assessments.
- Support line managers with compliance, training, and ongoing H&S awareness.
- Establish a visible and friendly presence across offices and sites.
- Lead by influence gently, respectfully, and effectively.
