Job Overview

Our team is seeking an efficient and organized Accounts Assistant to manage daily financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transaction Management: Post bank transactions on a regular basis, ensuring timely and accurate posting.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, general ledger journals, and balance sheets.
  • Purchase Invoicing: Process and input purchase invoices with attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Supplier Payments: Handle weekly EFT runs to pay suppliers.
  • Creditor Reconciliation: Reconcile creditor accounts and prepare monthly Aged Creditors reports.
  • Petty Cash Transactions: Process petty cash transactions with transparency and accuracy.
  • Internal Reporting: Assist in preparing internal reports for management, providing actionable insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar accounts or administrative role.
  • Excellent computer skills, with strong proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts and Excel highly desirable.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • A strong work ethic, flexible approach, and positive attitude.
