Installation Project Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Installation Project Lead to support our project lifecycle management. This role involves regular site attendance, overseeing work quality, and ensuring safety standards.

This position is responsible for:

  1. Attending weekly meetings to report progress and staffing issues.
  2. Overseeing site progress and monitoring output across all ongoing works.
  3. Tracking and reporting wastage, developing waste reduction strategies, and recording daily QA using software.
  4. Ensuring correct products are used per specifications.
  5. Reviewing drawings against current works to maintain scope.
  6. Communicating any changes or variations to relevant team members.
  7. Capturing and documenting daywork variations with the Main Contractor.
  8. Meeting monthly with the Surveying department to discuss operational outputs.
  9. Participating in health and safety meetings with Main Contractors, ensuring compliance.
  10. Assisting in preconstruction planning with key team leads.
  11. Supporting surveyors, coordinators, and site operatives with materials and equipment planning.
  12. Maintaining tools and reporting losses or damages.
  13. Attending appointments as required.
  14. Preparing site-specific method statements and risk assessments for approval.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Experience managing installation projects and teams.
  • A strong understanding of site operations and workflows.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) is preferred.
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
