Job Title: Senior Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist autism services to adults across Residential, Respite, Day, and Community Support Services.

About the Role:

  • The Senior Supervisor will provide direct support to individuals with autism, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • They will lead and manage a team of Social Care Workers, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • The role involves managing team rotas and leading/chairing meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct support to individuals with autism, adapting communication styles to suit their needs.
  2. Lead and manage a team of Social Care Workers, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  3. Manage team rotas and lead/chair meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • At least one year's recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs.
  • Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector.
  • Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism.
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
