Accommodation Assistant Job Description

As an Accommodation Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel's guest bedrooms and public areas.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize guest bedrooms to an approved standard, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, removing rubbish, and replenishing rooms with towels and toiletries.
  • Keep corridors clean, including glass (fire doors) and other furniture on stairways.
  • Remove and dispose of any rubbish to designated areas.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of cleaning materials and detergents.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment.
  • Report any maintenance issues or lost property to supervisors.
  • Greet and acknowledge guests throughout your working day.
  • Deal with guest queries in a professional and friendly manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours.
