Technical Leadership Role in Wastewater Networks

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to fill a technical leadership role in wastewater networks.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role in the planning, design, and delivery of wastewater network solutions from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and delivering wastewater network projects including drainage system upgrades, new pipelines, and new/upgraded pumping stations.
  • Delivery of projects for water utilities, local authorities, and private sector clients.
  • Preparation of reports such as feasibility studies, planning reports, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
  • Managing others in the preparation of deliverables such as designs, reports, and contract documents.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients/contractors.
  • Providing technical guidance and assurance across all stages of project delivery.
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting their career development.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant third-level degree in engineering (Level 7 or higher).
  • Ideally, Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years relevant engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a design role.
  • Possess excellent professional/technical knowledge and skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Have an ability to manage and mentor more junior staff.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and have a proven track record of meeting deliverable deadlines to client satisfaction.
