Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a technical leadership role in a forward-thinking collaborative environment.

You will play a pivotal role in the planning, design and delivery of wastewater network solutions from feasibility through to detailed design and construction, all whilst ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing drainage systems, leading project teams, working closely with clients and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering wastewater network projects including drainage system upgrades and new pipelines.
  • Working with water utilities, local authorities and private sector clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Preparing reports such as feasibility studies, planning reports, site assessments and technical evaluations.
  • Managing others in the preparation of deliverables such as designs, reports and contract documents.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients and contractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Providing technical guidance and assurance across all stages of project delivery.
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting their career development.

Requirements:

  • A relevant third-level degree in engineering (Level 7 or higher).
  • Ideal Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years relevant engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a design role.
  • Possess excellent professional/technical knowledge and skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and mentor more junior staff.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines to client satisfaction.
