Newly Qualified Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis, with experience in delivering monthly management accounts and group reporting to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal deadlines.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and forecasts aligned with business objectives and reporting requirements.
  • Deliver statutory and internal financial reports in accordance with both US GAAP and local GAAP standards.
  • Perform and review monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and other key adjustments.
  • Manage the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate recording of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
  • Uphold compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and financial policies, supporting ongoing process improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of external audits and statutory accounts, liaising with auditors and key internal stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • AACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to deliver monthly management accounts and group reporting to tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, processes, and controls.
