Executive Producer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Producer to lead our flagship current affairs programme, The Tonight Show.

  • Responsibilities include setting a robust editorial agenda, leading the production team, and outputting live programmes.
  • You will be responsible for generating ideas for topics and guests, booking contributors for panel discussions & one-on-one interviews, ensuring compliance with broadcast regulations and guidelines.
  • Additionally, you will plan for special events such as elections and budgets, line manage staff, and monitor ratings and audience feedback.
Requirements
  • You will have extensive experience working in current affairs in television/radio, with a strong understanding of the Irish political landscape.
  • A strong contacts book and thorough knowledge of defamation law are also essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, are required.
