Trainee Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a Trainee Accountant to join our team in Limerick. As a Trainee Accountant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality accounting services to our clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, participating in audits, and compiling management accounts. You will also have the opportunity to work with clients from early stages and benefit from an exceptional study leave and remuneration package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements and other accounting reports
  • Participation in audits and other assurance engagements
  • Compilation of management accounts and other management reporting
  • Preparation of corporation Tax, VAT, RCT and Income Tax returns
  • Preparation and processing of Payroll
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have achieved at least a 2.1 in accountancy or a business related degree. You should also have obtained 420+ points at Leaving Cert level (or equivalent). Strong communication and English language skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
