Infant and Toddler Educator

Foster the growth and development of young children in a supportive environment.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Infant and Toddler Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with infants and toddlers, a strong understanding of child development principles, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
  • Conduct daily health checks and maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
  • Create individualized activities based on each child's developmental level.
  • Facilitate positive relationships among children and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to promote parental involvement.
  • Assess each child's growth and development, and refer children who may need additional support.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with experience working with infants and toddlers.
  • In-depth knowledge of child development principles, particularly in the areas of birth to 3 years old.
  • The ability to establish trust, communicate respect, and develop caring and nurturing relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
