Job Overview

Fingleton White is a leading provider of multidiscipline engineering services for the energy industry, delivering lasting solutions based on a first principles approach.

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join our Water design team. The successful candidate will work with senior support and have opportunities to develop broad skills and experience in design and project management.

The role involves leading and delivering mechanical design across water sector projects, including municipal water and wastewater pumping stations and treatment plants, as well as collaborating with a design team, mentoring mechanical engineers, and developing technical assurance of design.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver mechanical design for water sector projects
    • Collaborate with the design team to plan and deliver design work
    • Mentor mechanical engineers to promote knowledge-sharing and team development
    • Develop and assure technical design using relevant software packages

The ideal candidate will have an Engineering degree (Honours bachelor's degree or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar discipline, with 7+ years post-graduate experience, excellent computer skills, familiarity with AutoCAD 'Plant 3D' modelling, and fluency in English.
