Delivering Water Network Improvements as a Resident Engineer

A successful candidate will oversee and manage water projects in the Dublin region, ensuring compliance with contracts and legislation.

  • Working closely with regional contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Liaising with local authorities to facilitate smooth project delivery.
  • Conducting regular health, safety, quality, and environment audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Processing work orders and service requests efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate records and creating lists of snags.
  • Collaborating with design engineers to clarify project expectations.
  • Responding to customer complaints and providing feedback to stakeholders.
  • Attending meetings with contractors and design teams to ensure effective communication.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • At least 5 years' experience in on-site supervision and site engineering of civil engineering works, including water projects.
  • A degree in a related discipline, such as civil engineering.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of health and safety procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be flexible regarding travel and able to work effectively within a team at all times.
