We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to drive efficient material procurement and planning for cutting-edge intruder alarm systems in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:- Sourcing electronic components, managing purchase orders, and forecasting material needs through collaboration with production and R&D teams.
- Building strong supplier relationships, ensuring contract compliance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities using tools like Should Cost and Benchmarking.
- Aligning sourcing strategies with sustainability goals and supporting Value Added (VAVE) initiatives to enhance product value and efficiency.
- Working closely with quality teams to ensure all materials meet strict standards and resolving any supply issues promptly.
- Leveraging data analytics to enhance purchasing decisions, forecast accuracy, and track sustainability and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in the procurement of electronic components within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience in material forecasting and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with local compliance and regulatory requirements for the UK and Irish markets.
