Day Service Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to lead and innovate within a values-driven organisation supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-led day services that support independence, inclusion, and individual choice.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-led day services that support independence, inclusion, and individual choice.
  • Collaborate with the service manager to implement strategic objectives and develop new initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with New Directions standards, policies, and national safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.
  • Support individuals in achieving meaningful outcomes through person-centred planning and community engagement.
  • Oversee service operations including clinical coordination, staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant professional qualification in Social Care or related field.
  • Proven experience managing services for people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of New Directions, person-centred supports, and HSE standards.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for innovation, inclusion, and empowering others to live their best lives.
