Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering individualized nursing care to patients with mental health conditions. This will involve conducting thorough mental health assessments, developing personalized care plans, administering medications, and providing therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mental Health Assessments: Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patient-specific needs and goals.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by medical professionals, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring patient response.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote patient recovery and well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Nursing Registration: Hold valid NMBI registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Psychiatric Nursing Experience: Possess significant experience in psychiatric nursing, with a strong understanding of mental health concepts and principles.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and deliver high-quality patient care.
