Job Description

Main purpose of the role:

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Delicatessen Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold deli products and ensuring customer satisfaction is always met.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • HACCP training is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Previous customer service experience is highly advantageous
  • The ability to work as part of a fast-paced team, managing multiple tasks under pressure
  • A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers by sharing knowledge and recommendations
About the Role

As a Delicatessen Team Member, you will be expected to:

  • Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas using store measures
  • Cook, prepare, and display foods sold throughout the day
  • Maintain the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness in the counter displays
  • Demonstrate your passion for quality food by sharing recipes and personal recommendations with customers
  • Efficiently handle customer queries in line with store policy
