Senior Process Project Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Project Engineer to lead our sites Capital Projects department and associated projects.

  • This role involves managing design consultants to ensure they meet the Company's requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will engage contractors in line with Capital Projects Sourcing, Project Controls and Contract Administration requirements.
  • Review and approve design documentation produced by design consultants is also an essential aspect of this position.
  • The successful candidate will support Capital Projects to deliver projects on time and in accordance with agreed key milestones.
  • Effective communication of project status to all relevant stakeholders is crucial.
  • Compliance with local codes, regulations, and quality standards is mandatory.
  • This position requires coordinating work packages and ensuring smooth transition from design to construction to handover.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years experience leading Capital Projects in a live operational environment.
  • Registration with a professional body such as the Institution of Engineers of Ireland (IEI).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Excellent skills in managing suppliers, change, and scope changes procedures.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
  • Familiarity with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
  • Experience with design software like AutoCAD and Revit is desirable.
